Odysseus - p. 21

On a dark desert highway, Mrs. Odysseus and her only son, Telemachus had to stop for the night. The stars existed as they always had, pumping radiation out across the desert in order to relieve the pain of nuclear fusion. Mrs. Odysseus opened a bottle of Data Daze sparking California wine. Little Telemachus cried, knowing that this could be heaven or this could be hell. The mother reassured him with a wave of her television wand. Still those voices are calling from far away. He woke up years later. He had almost forgotten that night.
