Odysseus - p. 90

The sun rose again, as it had billions of times before. Odysseus sat in the Starbucks with a laptop drawing signals from a nearby star. Around him morning worshipers on their way to work tried to conceal their awe at his clarity of mind and sober wisdom. A downtown bus released a load of molecules onto the street. Consulting his GPS, Odysseus once again understood his place in the universe. It was hours before his appointment, but he was already late. He picked up his coffee cup and night fell hard to the ground. Across town a file folder in a hidden desk exploded.
